Thunder your way to perfect thinning.

Made from high grade Japanese steel, the Haito Ikazuchi Thinner takes its name from the Japanese word meaning "thunder". There's nothing stormy about this scissor though!

The Ikazuchi features an ergonomic offset handle for comfortable use and has a convex cutting edge for superb performance. The thinning blade has 28 teeth which have been V-notched to make texturising easy.

The thinner looks great too, with red detailing on the finger-ring inserts and the cap to the adjustable tension screw. For those who like to personalise their scissors, both the rings and the finger rest can be removed.

The Haito Ikazuchi Thinner measures 5.75 inches.

In comparison with the Detailers it's very close. Blades are the same and power feels similar, both being quite powerful. The wire however is much more substantial and doesn't tangle the same which is a huge plus- the main fault with the detailers. The Hero's are incredibly light and also even smaller than my detailers however the casing bulges out which does get in the way a little bit as a pose to the detailers are the opposite, as they groove in. They look really nice and are overall a great trimmer. If it wasn't for the casing sticking out I couldn't fault them but the wire is a major positive.
