Flagship Mizutani model with world beating durability
These scissors are forged from one of the toughest steels ever made. Formerly used in the jet engines of Concorde, Stellite is a cobalt steel with such outstanding hardness that it takes the Mizutani craftsmen several days simply to grind the blades of these scissors. Of course, the result is that you get scissors with exceptional durability, that will retain their razor-sharp edges for longer than just about any other.
The blade design is a sword type, but Mizutani use a special triple grinding, unique to them, that focuses all the power of the cut directly into the blade itself, making cutting simple and effortless. In addition, with one straight blade and one curved blade, these scissors are ideally suited for slice cutting and it's no wonder that they are Mizutani's flagship model.
As well as beautiful hair cutting performance, the Acro Stellite has offset handles, ensuring a low arm position and minimal strain on the wrist and elbow, and a fixed finger rest for added hand support.
The finger rings have the distinctive squared-off shape associated with Mizutani scissors and are slightly bent (see picture below) to improve your comfort. There is also an adjustable tension screw, so you can set up the scissors exactly as you would like them.
The Acro Stellite is available in 6 inches only and in a choice of right or left handed.
