All the quality of Mizutani in a conventional design
With its classic, even-handled shape and round finger rings, the Pixy is a long way from the innovative, radical designs like the Acro Knife for which Mizutani is famous. However, its heritage is evident in every inch of its glossy polished steel and razor-sharp blades which are more than a testament to Mizutani's reputation for high quality and craftsmanship.
Like its close cousin the Matellite C, the Pixy is made from the hardest stainless steel known to Man (what the metals boffins call "440C" and otherwise used for engine valves and ball bearings). This means that it won't wear out quickly and it'll hang on to those razor-sharp edges for longer than many other scissors.
The handle has a conventional, hourglass-shaped, finger rest for comfort. There's also a unique flat tension screw so you can reverse the scissors and there's nothing to snag the hair. The screw itself can be adjusted using Mizutani's specially designed scissor tool (supplied).
Available in 5, 5.5 and 6 inches.
