Scissor Sharpening
Scissors are where we started in business at CoolBlades and our expertise and years of experience mean we can offer you a high quality sharpening service that's second to none. We're proud to say that we can sharpen and service any make or model of scissor or thinning scissor, provided it's in reasonable condition.
As ex-hairdressers we know only too well how difficult it is to find a reputable company you can trust to look after your scissors. We're so sure you'll be delighted with our workmanship that we guarantee it.
Every CoolBlades scissor service consists of the following:
- Strip down inspection and clean
- Angle setting and adjustment
- Re-sharpening and polish
- Convexing or micro serrations (as required)
- Re-building with new parts if required (no extra cost)
- Balancing and adjustment
- Setting and testing
and is amazing value at just £12.50 per pair of scissors, including VAT, postage and packing, and insurance*.
We normally expect your sharpened scissors to be back with you within 7 days of you posting them to us.

* Scissors sent to us by standard delivery (not recorded) are only insured up to £15. Recorded delivery packages are insured up to £34. Any additional insurance must be purchased by the sender and is not covered by CoolBlades.
