With its night black casing adorned with black-light-effect writing, the Wahl Lithium Ion Eclipse is so cool you may need to wear gloves to handle it!

What makes it really special though is its power source, featuring a lithium ion battery that is not only highly efficient and durable, but also doesn't lose charge when you're not using the clippers. It's therefore much better for the environment than normal NiMh batteries.

Charge time is swift, giving you enough juice for a clip from only a couple of minutes charging. However, if you leave it for its full 180-minute charging cycle (indicated by a brilliant blue LED on the clipper casing), you'll get a huge 90 minutes of runtime out of it.

The Lithium Ion Eclipse's blades are chrome plated to prevent rust and are mounted on a quick release mechanism for easy cleaning and changing. The blades have a cutting width of 40 mm and a cutting length of 0.8 mm.

Like all Wahl clippers it comes with a blade guard, oil and a cleaning brush, but with the Wahl Lithium Ion Eclipse, you also get 4 clipper guide combs (#1–#4), a charging stand and a flat top comb.
