The Wahl Lithium Ion Pro is one of the world's most advanced hair clippers and is rightly top of Wahl's range. It's not just clever though, you also get superb style and looks and a body that's shaped to fit comfortably into your hand.

Let's start with the power: Lithium ion technology means that this clipper has a lightning fast charge time, getting up to full power in just 45 minutes. What's more it won't lose any charge in storage and it's highly efficient and kind to the environment.

There are 4 green LEDs on the casing to tell you how much charge is left in the battery. A full charge gives you 75 minutes of cordless cutting time, but don't worry if you run out of juice mid-clip as the Lithium Ion Pro works just as well plugged into its 2.4-metre cord.

The power drives a single speed rotary motor that's micro-chip controlled for optimum performance. This means that the cutting action remains constant whatever the level of charge in the battery and whatever the type of hair you're cutting.

Then there's the blades: made of high quality stainless steel, these feature an integrated cutting taper with 5 separate levels. This gives you cutting lengths ranging from 0.7 mm to 3 mm without the need to change blades.

Changing blades is simple though as Wahl's quick-release mechanism makes them easy to remove. What's more, the Lithium Ion Pro's so clever it actually tells you when you need to oil your blades to keep them cutting perfectly.

The Wahl Lithium Ion Pro comes with 6 guide combs (#1–#6), oil, cleaning brush and its charging stand.
