Budget slicing scissor that crackles with quality.
Taking its name from the Japanese word for lightning, the Haito Inazuma is a budget slicing scissor with features normally found in scissors several times its price.
First, the materials. It's made from the world famous Hitachi steel and has been forged using a special sub-zero quenching process which results in a much harder scissor. This means that the scissor is more durable and that the blades will hold an edge for longer.
Next, the engineering. The Inazuma is held together by a Japanese-style, adjustable tension screw system which uses a ball bearing to ensure a super smooth action. The blades have a convex edge, perfect for slicing and the handles are offset to ensure they're comfortable to hold.
Finally, the design. The flowing form of the handles terminates in a fixed finger rest, but, with versatility in mind, there's also a removable finger rest further round the top handle. Removable finger rings are also supplied.
The Haito Inazuma comes in 5.75 inches only and is supplied with a black scissor pouch.
28 V-notched teeth give excellent texturising performance and ergonomic offset handles make it comfy to use.
