L'Oréal Professional Serie Expert Metal Protector Concentrated Oil is an ultra-nourishing serum oil that's formulated with L'Oréal’s patented Metal Detox technology to help remove copper build-up from hair. L'Oréal research shows up to 64% of people in the UK have excess copper in their hair, and that excess copper can make hair colour less true and leave coloured hair more prone to breakage.

The Metal Detox Protector Concentrated Oil is designed to nourish hair, plumping it up and adding high shine and silky softness. It smooths tresses without weighing them down and provides heat protection up to 230°C.

The patented technology in Metal Detox is a molecule called Glicoamine which penetrates the hair fibre, trapping and neutralising metal to ensure that colour is true and fully developed. In tests, hair was also 87% less prone to breakage.
