The Joewell SZ is part of Joewell's "F" range of more affordable scissors. It's made from components sourced outside Japan to keep costs low, but then finished and inspected in Joewell's factory to ensure quality.

The result is that the SZ has the same silky cutting action you normally associate with scissors twice its price. This is thanks to its use of the same dry bearing screw system used in the Joewell FX-PRO.

This resin-based, dry pivot system gives incredibly smooth opening and closing and allows for a thinner body and lighter weight. It's also totally maintenance-free.

Naturally, the convex blades are razor sharp and hold their edge well thanks to Joewell's supreme stainless steel alloy. They're teamed with semi-offset handles for a comfortable hand position and a removable finger rest.

The Joewell SZ comes in 5.25 or 5.75 inches.
