Kasho kicked off 2013 by launching the Impression Series as an affordable introduction to the beauty of Kasho design and the quality of Japanese craftsmanship.
They're made from high grade stainless steel that's been given an attractive satin finish and have very smooth lines that exude precision and elegance.
The Impression Series features one semi-convex blade and one hollow-ground blade, both with razor sharp edges, which make for superb slicing. These are held together by an adjustable tension screw that incorporates Kasho's ratchet system so you can feel it click as you set up your scissors to the perfect tension.
Handles are offset for comfort and to minimise hand fatigue and the risk of RSI. There's also a "camel back" ridge on the top handle and a finger rest for extra finger comfort.
