Student scissors are great for training, but let's face it, after a couple of years practising on block heads, when the time comes to get out of the classroom and into the shop or salon, you (and your new clients) deserve blades with higher performance. That's where a scissor like the Ama GTX comes in.
It's made from Japanese stainless steel and features a bevelled-edge blade that's good enough to slice with. There's a choice of handles, either level set for a classic feel or offset for a more natural hand position, which are made with larger finger holes and a slightly heavier weight making the GTX a good choice for barbering.
It's supplied with finger ring inserts (colour may vary from picture) and a removable finger rest and is available with even handles in 5 inches or with offset handles in 5.5 or 6 inches.
